Dialogues About Argentina and the End of the Millenium

Sinopsis

Aguinis: We are today at the end of a burdensome century and of a complex millenium, where extraordinary achievements and terrible catastrophes may be found. Thus, it is auspicious -and necessary- that personalities from different walks of life and diverse trainings may exchange views and may even play with their emotions, their feelings, their fears and their expectations to shed a little more light before these uncertainty that shakes the whole planet.

Laguna: I believe that it might be ver y productive for a prestigious Jewish writer and a catholic bishop to engage in a simple conversation about the topics of interest for the people of our times. Although there is no indication as yet of apocalyptic attitudes, it is just a matter of time; for this sickness strikes at every end of a century, and in this case it may be worsened by the fact that it is also the end of the millenium. That is the reason why I think it is important to research into the roots of true and real humanism, so that Mankind may become aware of its own dignity and face the new millenium without false beliefs, with true and clear hope.

For the first time together, two personalities whose opinions should not be disregarded, exchange ideas and perspectives.
